Fully automatic band saws for cutting solid bars, tubes and sections of steel, light cast iron and non-ferrous materials. 90-degree cut only. Made entirely of steel. Oil-bath reduction gearing and carbide shoes and rollers in the blade guides. The front jaw consists of several hardened rollers driven by an electric motor via a worm and wheel. The rear vise consists of several freely rotating rollers. A limit switch mounted on top of the vise stops the machine when the block is exhausted. Once the workpiece is clamped between the rollers, no further clamping is necessary. The workpiece is fed through the vise to the bar stop which contains a micro switch controlling the bar feed motor. A parts counter monitors the number of cuts. The machines stop automatically in the event of blade breakage. The machines are equipped with a removable coolant tank incorporating a submersible electric pump that supplies coolant to both guide assemblies. A bi-metal saw blade and a 1.2-meter infeed roller table are supplied as standard.
